It's been about a year since my last post (actually over a year at this point). Figured it was time to update this blog for the heck of updating (plus I'm enjoying the fact that I'm getting wireless while in the airport :D ).
So, I'm presently working for the CFIA and really enjoying it so far. I get to do a good amount of lab work and it's varied so it's not like I'm stuck streaking plates all day and doing that over and over again. Other thing I like about it is that it's a research project I'm working on so I get to collect and analyse data and attempt to make some sense of it :).
I think I've been increasing the amount of movie watching lately. Hopefully by the end of today I'll have finished watching X-men Origins. So far I'm enjoying it for the action plus it's always enjoyable to watch Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds lol ;). I recently watched 17Again. It wasn't too bad but I have other favorites so it probably won't be one I'd watch again (at least for a couple years anyway). I also had the viewing pleasure of Paycheck. Interesting movie with some cheap parts but I liked the tense moments.
As far as my reading list goes, I am presently attempting to get through the first book of the Harry Potter series and failing miserably. I'm finding it quite boring but hopefully it'll pick up soon. Anyway off to catch my plane.
